On October 7th, Anuga opens its doors, the leading trade fair for the global food industry. For six days, more than 7,500 exhibitors from over 100 countries will showcase their products at the exhibition grounds in Cologne across six halls and ten specialized trade fairs. The theme for 2023 is "Sustainable Growth." Around 170,000 visitors from 200 countries are expected to attend.

One of the most important trade fairs under the Anuga umbrella (and, of course, the coolest one) is Anuga Frozen Food, serving as the leading export platform for the global frozen food industry for over 600 companies from nearly 60 countries.

The dti is the official partner of Anuga Frozen Food: "We are pleased that the international frozen food industry uses Anuga as its central platform for business and takes the anniversary year as an opportunity to meet in Cologne. With our strong partner, dti, we are offering a diverse program this year with new insights from and for the industry," said Jan Philipp Hartmann, Director Anuga.

Our booth is located in Hall 4.2, B11/C10, and is always a popular meeting point for all members, guests, and those interested in frozen food.

At Anuga in Cologne, dti offers a diverse event program for the industry:

At Anuga in Cologne on October 8th at 1:30 PM, dti will present the FROZEN! dti Innovation Award to recognize innovations in the frozen food industry. This award is presented for the first time in conjunction with the global celebration of "100 years of deep-freezing." Partners for this award are the AFC Consulting Group AG (AFC) and Anuga. The festive award ceremony will be part of the 1st International Frozen Food Conference "Frozen food as a game changer", where international experts will discuss the potential of frozen food.

The FROZEN! dti Innovation Award acknowledges ideas that, in the spirit of frozen food "inventor" Clarence Birdseye, boldly address challenges in climate protection, energy efficiency, digitalization, automation, logistics optimization, and more sustainable supply chains, or have developed a new, innovative frozen product that meets the needs of today's society. Innovative ideas from start-ups take center stage at the premiere of the 2023 Innovation Award, but novel approaches from established companies were also considered.

A distinguished jury has selected three finalists from the submissions, who will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas publicly during the award ceremony. The jury will then decide the final winner live. Award ceremony guests will also choose the audience favorite through online voting.

Participation is free for trade fair visitors.
